Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children - Fifth edition (WISC V)
The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children®- Fifth Edition (WISC®-V UK) is the popular intelligence quotient (IQ) test administered to determine a child’s cognitive strengths (and possible giftedness) and weaknesses (possible learning disorders or intellectual disabilities). Practitioners can also investigate gaps between academic achievement and a child’s level of intellectual functioning by comparing results from the WISC®-V UK with academic achievement scores from an assessment such as the WIAT-III.
