Founder story

It all started with a mother, her daughter, and a filing cabinet.

The JVR Africa Group opened its doors in 1993 as a mother-daughter startup. They had a small office space, a telephone, and a single filing cabinet. With passion, a dedication to excellence, and a lot of hard work, the JVR Africa Group grew steadily from a company of two people, to one with offices in Cape Town, Botswana, Johannesburg, and Namibia.  

Although we’ve grown and changed, we keep in our hearts the passion, dedication, and human touch that our founders championed.
