The Gifted Rating Scales (GRS™) are based on theories and guidelines regarding gifted and talented students. It is a quick and easily administered assessment that is completed through teacher or professional evaluations. Items areasked as such toallowfor minimal observational bias and a high degree of measurement accuracy, especially at higher levels. Both forms of the GRS™ allow for the identification of relative strengths and specific areas of giftedness and provide specific behavioural guidelines for identification of giftedness within each domain.

AREAS OF APPLICATION
Both forms of the GRS™:
Provide a standardised method for identifying children for gifted and talented programs based on teacher observation.
Identify relative strengths and specific areas of giftedness.
Provide specific behavioural guidelines for identification of giftedness within each domain.
REPORT OPTION
The GRS Score Report provides the practitioner with a summary t-score profile of the client,as well as Strengths and Recommendations. The report concludes with the item responses.
The GRS can also be hand-scored.
SOUTH AFRICAN RESEARCH
