Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, 2nd edition (BOTTM-2)

The Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency Second Edition (BOT-2) delivers a precise and comprehensive measure of both gross and fine motor skills in children, especially in those with mild to moderate motor control problems. The challenging, game-like tasks make for enjoyable activities that appeal to children being tested, such as maintaining balance while standing on one leg, bouncing a ball, and cutting out a circle.

Fine Motor Control – Fine Motor Precision and Fine Motor Integration
Manual Coordination – Manual Dexterity and Upper Limb Coordination
Body Coordination – Bilateral Coordination and Balance
Strength and Agility – Running Speed and Agility, and Strength

The BOT-2 supports occupational therapists, special education professionals, physical therapists, developmental adaptive physical education teachers, and other professionals’ screening and diagnosis of motor ability deficits and impairments, aiding identification of those who may benefit from further evaluations and motor training interventions.

Complete Form Report: the most comprehensive report, provides scores for each subtest, composite pairwise comparisons, subtest pairwise comparisons, the score profile, a narrative report and feedback letter to the parent or caregiver.

Although South African research and norms are not yet available for the BOTS-2, JVR Psychometrics welcomes the opportunity to partner with clients in conducting research studies.
