Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI)

The Beck Anxiety Inventory assesses a broad range of emotional, physical, cognitive and behavioural symptoms that represent important dimensions of anxiety. Each item that clients are asked to answer are descriptive of subjective, somatic, or panic-related symptoms of anxiety.

  • Interpretive Report – this report indicates a client’s t-score, raw score, percentile rank, diagnostic range and endorsed items.
  • Progress Report – this report indicates changes in client’s scores over time, as well as provides operational definitions for clinical outcomes

The BAI has been found to discriminate well between anxious and non-anxious diagnostic groups in a variety of clinical populations.

Although South African research is not currently available, JVR Psychometrics welcomes the opportunity to partner with clients in conducting research studies in their practices.
