The JvR Psychometrics team had the privilege to work with the Witteberg High school in the Eastern Free State as part of a research study earlier in August. We were extremely impressed by the efficiency and effectiveness of the school’s management team as well as the discipline and friendliness of the learners who took part in the study. On the school grounds, a huge billboard displays Gandhi’s immortal words: ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’. It would seem that this school truly embodies this spirit.
The research study focuses on the importance of assessing personality as the foundation for numerous educational interventions including study habits and learning strategies. We will present our findings at the annual PsySSA conference in September.
