Professor Deon Meiring

It is with immense sadness that we heard that Professor Deon Meiring passed away last week.

Apart from being a wonderful husband and father, Deon will be remembered and respected for the enormous contribution he made to the discipline of Industrial Psychology. Whether it was as a lecturer and mentor to students, doing research on cross-cultural psychology, driving the development of SAPI and being recognised and honoured for the significant contribution he has made to the science and practice of assessment centres. In many ways Deon ensured an international awareness of the excellent research and development work being done in South Africa.

Deon will be sorely missed by all who knew him as a man of unsurpassed integrity, loyalty, and dedication. Lala ngoxolo Deon
