The Measuring and Assessing Individual Potential, or the MAP, is a work-related personality test that is grounded in the Five Factor Model of personality. In the world of business today, finding ways not only to measure but also predict areas such as work performance, job satisfaction, individual-organizational fit, and leadership and sales performance is extremely important. What do all these areas have in common? Well, for one it has been well documented that personality has an important role to play. The MAP enables us to reliably measure individual’s personality, allowing for powerful predictions of personality-driven critical behaviours in working environments. JvR Psychometrics Research Department is busy collecting data on the MAP in order to create South African norms for the assessment.
