The Growth Kit for First Line Managers

Information

Presented by: JVR Team

Making the shift from managing self to managing others isn’t easy, and even the best candidates need help.

Your high performers - those most likely to be promoted to managerial positions are especially prone to trip up. They are likely to want to keep doing what made them successful in the past, but being a manager is a whole new ball game.
The aim of this Services Seta accredited learning programme is to equip inexperienced managers with the foundation of management skills and knowledge to stand out from the crowd.

The Growth Kit for First Line Managers is a 5-part blended learning programme, accessible from home, that will introduce junior managers to key terms, rules, concepts, principles and practices of management within the context of the changing world of work.

By developing management competencies, they will be able to manage and inspire their teams to make a valuable contribution to the success of their organisation.

These workshops form part of the SAQA Generic Management Qualification (57712, level 4), and are aligned to the Unit Standards included in the qualification.
