Information
Presented by: Adri Vorster
In this workshop, we further explore two of the concepts mentioned in the previous workshop– fluid and crystalised reasoning. Whilst fluid reasoning assists children in solving problems, crystalised reasoning can assist them in comprehending the facts of what they are reading. Both are important in a classroom environment and at the end of the workshop, you will not only understand these better, but you will also understand how different assessment measures and specifical subtests within assessments provide more information on a child’s fluid and crystalised skills. You will also better understand how these skills manifest themselves in the classroom.
